The sale was one of four deals closed by Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc. associate Charles V. Canale in the Chicagoland area. The deals totaled nearly 450,000 sf. Britt Casey and John Cassidy of Grubb & Ellis represented Micro Inks Corp. while Canale represented the seller.

Canale and senior associate Kevin O'Donnell represented First Industrial Realty Trust in the sale of 396 Fenton Lane, 450 Fenton Lane and 400 Wegner Drive in West Chicago for $2.7 million, according to property tax records. Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler vice president Brent R. DeNoble represented the private investor.

Canale and associate Steven A. Kohn represented Wedco Plastics in the sale of 37 S. 9th St. in west suburban Maywood. Crosstown Electric bought the 66,070-sf manufacturing facility and warehouse. The buyer was represented by Jerry Olson of Epic/Savage.

Canale and Chairman Emeritus Donald W. Schaumberger, SIOR, represented buyer and seller of a 20,500-sf parcel at 211 S. Harlem Ave. in west suburban Forest Park. The buyer plans to build a convenience store. Charles V. Canale, Associate of CB&K along with Schaumberger, SIOR, Chairman of Emeritus represented both parties in the transaction.
