Strategic Associates Inc., based in Austin, has signed a five-year lease for the 3,651-sf office spot in the class-A structure at 1044 Research Blvd., Eric Anderson of First Regional Properties in Austin tells GlobeSt.com. Paul Joseph of USAA has represented his company, the building owner, in the transaction. The going rate in the five-story office building is $30 per sf.
Anderson says the tenant has picked up extra space in the move and is planning to beef up its workforce. Strategic Associates had been leasing office space at 13915 Burnet Rd. in the city's far north corridor.
The firm had been founded in 1988 to provide a specialized talent base and consulting for the high-tech industry. Its client roster includes dot-com startups to Fortune 500 firms. Strategic Associates specializes in services that span all levels of operation, including finance and executive leadership.
