Fleet Capital President/CEO Retires

ATLANTA-James G. Connolly, Northeast division president, replaces Irwin Teich who has been with the FleetBoston Financial subsidiary since 1973.

Teich will be replaced by James G. Connolly, who had been the firm's division president of their Northeast division. Connolly joined the firm in 1986.

Teich has been senior vice president, Eastern Division manager and president of the Business Finance Division. He became CEO of Fleet Capital Corp. in 1999.
