American Access Technologies Inc. of suburban Lake Mary, FL and DataWorld Solutions Inc. of Farmingdale, NY expect to grow their telecom supply markets more efficiently, especially from the manufacturing and distribution side, according to a prepared statement from American Access.
The merger would give DataWorld shareholders one share of American Access stock for four shares of DataWorld stock. A new company name is being worked out. American Access, headed by CEO John Presley, posted sales of $5.3 million and income of $2 million in 2000.
