If the proposal is approved, the development will include a 350,000-sf, six-story office building that would be built on top of a two-story retail strip and a former movie theater. The other building would be five stories and have 90,000 sf of space.
Charles River Plaza is right near the city's Government Center and neighbors include Massachusetts General Hospital, the Shriners Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Cambridge's Kendall Square and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are nearby.
