The list includes David Lester, president of Dallas-based Lester & Lester Realty Advisors in Richardson; Royce Lacey, vice president of Austin's NAI/Commercial Properties Inc.; and Robert Kuykendall, development manager for Dallas-based Beck Realty Group. "The BCCR certification indicates a high level of understanding of a strategic approach to corporate real estate management, specifically in several key areas of corporate decision-making on which corporate real estate can impact," says Sarah Todd, BCCR executive director.
More than 250 corporate real estate executives currently are completing courses for the accreditation, launched in 1996. Lester, Lacey and Kuykendall join a roster of executives representing the corporations' real estate department as well those from leading real estate firms. Other leading executives from real estate firms on the list are Keith A. Banke, senior consultant for the Staubach Co.'s Great Lake Region; Rick Hughes, senior director for Cushman & Wakefield Inc.; T. Courtenay Jenkins III Sr., vice president of Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co.; Brian Lee, managing director for Insignia/ESG Inc.; and John Quinn, president of Urban Property Services Co.
Lester hails from a three-broker, family-operated real estate firm that caters primarily to Dallas-Ft. Worth clients. "It's a way to differentiate ourselves," he tells GlobeSt.com of his reasoning to secure the certification amid a powerbroker list representative of the nation's largest wheelers and dealers.
