The three-story building, located Downtown, will house regional offices of the Department of Treasury, the Division of Youth and Family Services and the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. As part of the project, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority has also renovated a 250-car parking garage located diagonally across from the building for use by state employees.

The New Jersey EDA is responsible for the project on behalf of the Department of the Treasury. EDA also provided more than $11.8 million in tax-exempt bonds backed by a state lease.

State officials expected to be on hand for the ribbon-cutting include EDA executive director Caren S. Franzini, state senator Joseph Palaia, Sandy Hance, CEO/secretary of the New Jersey Commerce and Economic Growth Commission and Bernard B. Kornmehl, assistant state treasurer.
