The lease brings the 15-year-old, 261,000-sf, four-story property to 98% occupancy, according to James Barton, vice president/leasing director in Orlando for Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle.
"The lease allows for the growth of several of CIBC's business groups that will be located within the building," Barton tells GlobeSt.com. Those units are Amicus FSB, Amicus Holdings, CIBC National Bank and Marketplace Bank.
JLL manages Maitland Colonnades for owner Florida Office Property Co., a Jones Lang LaSalle affiliate. JLL also manages and leases two other Florida Office-owned properties Downtown--the 12-year-old, 17-story, 230,000-sf, 92% leased Gateway Center and the 32-year-old, 15-story, 169,500-sf, 68%-leased Eola Park Centre which was fully renovated this year.
