Loeffler along with William James Jonas III and Timothy N. Tuggey are now operating under the moniker of Loeffler, Jonas & Tuggey. The new firm also signals the pullout of Cleveland-based Arter & Hadden LLP from the San Antonio-Austin office market, at least for now, says an inside source at Loeffler Jonas & Tuggey.

Arter & Hadden, founded in 1843, still maintains 10 US offices and one affiliate in Geneva, representing a team of more than 400 employees. The firm's Dallas office remains up and running.

The new law firm consists of 30 associates who had been part of the Arter & Hadden San Antonio-Austin offices, according to GlobeSt.com's contact. Loeffler, Jonas & Tuggey has secured office leases to a full floor in One Riverwalk Place in San Antonio and 100 Congress in Austin, a four-member office. A government affairs office in Washington, DC that is related to the San Antonio-Austin office is temporarily working out of an Arter & Hadden office, but is negotiating for its own office space in the capital's metro area, the source tells GlobeSt.com.

Tuggey is the managing partner in the restructured law firm while Loeffler is the senior partner. Jonas, says the source, will have an active role in the newly created entity.
