Fiserv, based in Brookfield, WI has been a tenant at 1801 Royal Lane since 1991, Sherri Chitwood, senior associate with Transwestern Commercial Services' Dallas office, tells GlobeSt.com. She has represented the tenant while Beall Carothers has acted on behalf of building owner, Westwood Business Park Ltd.
The five-year pact, says Chitwood, has been signed well in advance of Fiserv's current lease expiration. "It's a sound tenant for the landlord," she says of the renewal for the single-story, flex property. The contract wasn't due to expire until October.
Fiserv is a 15-year-old high-tech provider for the financial industry. It maintains a 10,000-client base that includes banks, credit unions, the brokerage community and mortgage and savings institutions. The global operation also has offices in Latin America, the Caribbean and Asia-Pacific.
