The user is the Appliance Dealers Cooperative, a regional buying group that specializes in large household appliances. Formed nearly 30 years ago, the cooperative serves 87 retailers across a half-dozen states from Virginia to Connecticut. It also has memberships in two larger buying alliances.

"We found this to be a location that is convenient to our workforce and still gives us the roadway access our business requires," according to Helene R. Siegel, executive director of the cooperative. "It retains the proximity of our original location."

That original location is East Brunswick, NJ, about 15 miles to the northeast of the new location. The Cooperative will use the new building, will include 12,000 sf of office space, to consolidate two smaller locations. The facility will be purchased in a tax-deferred transaction, and is expected to be ready for occupancy by the end of the third quarter of this year.
