Baker Commercial Realty, based in Dallas, has snagged the brokerage pact for Aventerra, a planned 529-acre, mixed-use corporate project in Southlake.

The development is located north of Texas 114 between Dove Road and Kimball Avenue. It is planned to develop the three-parcel site for corporate, restaurant and hospitality uses. Baker Commercial president Phil Baker and Stan McClure, senior vice president, have copped the assignment. Baker has specialized in the upscale Las Colinas area, having helped to plan and develop the 12,000-acre project that is now considered one of the most elite in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex.

In another key assignment, Philadelphia-based Binswanger/CBB's Dallas office has been hired to hawk an 86,517-sf facility in Edinburg, TX in the Rio Grande Valley. The high-finish building is located at 1920 SE. Industrial Dr. in Renaissance Industrial Park.

The structure contains 13,849 sf of office-flex space and boasts three dock-high doors. It is situated in an Enterprise Zone along US Highway 281 in close proximity to the McAllen-Miller International Airport and the International Bridge at the US-Mexico border.
