The deal involving 1376 Industrial Dr. in Itasca is a sale-leaseback, with Cincinnati-based Sabin Robbins Paper Co. selling its location for $3.875 million, according to DuPage County property tax records.
A sales price for the multi-tenant property at 7525 S. Sayre Ave. in Bedford Park was not available. However, tenants include FedEx Ground, Ramono Brothers, Cobe Laboratories, Superior Mailing and IVEX.
"We expect strong performance given Chicago's status as America's distribution hub," says Acorn Industrial Realty Venture chief investment officer Bruce Cohen of the two purchases.
Acorn now has a 30-property, 4.3 million-square-foot industrial portfolio.
Brian Liston of Darwin Realty brokered the Itasca transaction. Jeff Kahan, Steve Dissie and Jeff Devine of Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler represented the seller of the Bedford Park property.
