The committee will evaluate companies' qualifications, as well as their proposals.
The group will at first evaluate submittals for requests for qualifications and then for request for proposals. Deadlines for both the RFQ and the RFP have not been set.
Denver City Attorney J. Wallace Wortham Jr. is chairing the nine-member committee. Other members of the Winter Park Joint Venture Executive Committee include:
* City councilwomen Polly Flobeck, Debbie Ortega and Cathy Reynolds.
* Viola Garlington of the Winter Park Advisory Committee.
* Richard C. Linquanti, special legal counsel to the executive committee and director of the Ireland Stapleton law firm.
* James F. Norling, chairman of the Winter Park board of trustees for the Winter Park Recreational Association.
* Rick A Pederson, also a Winter Park board of trustee as well as a minority owner of the Frederick Ross Co. commercial real estate firm.
