"With substantial frontage on Robson and Granville streets, which is the second busiest pedestrian intersection in the city, and Future Shop as our anchor tenant, we are confident that this development will revitalize the area as a major retail center," said Kerry Bonnis, director of Bonnis Properties Inc.
Future Shop, which is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2002, will occupy the entire second floor of the 60,000-square foot development and will have exposure on both Robson and Granville streets.
Bonnis Properties, through its leasing agent CB Richard Ellis, said it is currently negotiating with numerous national and international fashion retailers for the ground floor areas available.
Bonnis has been a major player in the Granville area. The company purchased the Morguard Properties' Commodore Portfolio last year that consisted of five properties including Vancouver's landmark Commodore Ballroom.
