Gage has held positions on IDRC's Strategic Planning and Education Committees, served as Co-Chairman of the Financial Review Board and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1999. Gage's stint as associate chairman lasts through May 2002. His primary role is to lead the associate membership and represent the associate members interests on the Executive Committee.

Gage joined Cushman Realty Corporation's Walnut Creek office in 1993. He specializes in major account management, including leasing, purchases, build-to-suits, and corporate dispositions via subleasing and property sales. Prior to Cushman Realty, Gage was with The Prudential Realty Group, where he completed the development and leasing of 3,200,000 square feet of office/R&D product, and public improvement construction projects totaling over $100 million.
