Allstate Insurance Co. is taking 28,000 sf in phase 10 at 4100 Midway Rd. The five-year signing puts the structure, which delivered in May, at 28% leased. Feliz Jarvis, senior vice president of office development, tells GlobeSt.com that the tenant is in the process of securing bids for interior finish-out. An October move-in is expected.
The 106,000-sf 4100 Midway Rd. is part of a four-building campus that will total 430,000 sf. Each structure will be interconnected through a series of athletic facilities and park-type amenities. A second building for this particular mini-campus could kick off this summer.
International Business Park has one more building under construction. A 103,000-sf, two-story office building at 4100 International Parkway will deliver in September and plans are afoot to keep adding to the four-year-old master-planned development. It is designed with a series of mini-campuses that target mid-size businesses as tenants, but offering amenities, such as a fitness center and athletic courts, that are normally only found at large corporate complexes. The 4100 Midway Rd. is a design of HKS Architects of Dallas.
