Lisa Bunner, Michelle Kocher and Patrick D'sa are the analysts, who will be providing provide due diligence services to the hospitality industry. Additionally, Bruce Nelson is the designee to lead the special servicing and work-out group. The unit aids Wall Street firms in restructuring and liquidating distressed loans and assets.
The hires come during a banner year for Situs, which has recently surpassed $20 billion in due diligence for lenders from North America and the Caribbean. The $20 billion is calculated considering the values of the properties for which Situs provides due diligence, underwriting and consulting services.
Martin Bronstein, principal with Situs says "diligence was once considered to be a deal breaker, but the parties we work with quickly come to understand that we are deal facilitators and problem solvers." Situs Realty Services Division has been in operation for five years.
