There are now 51 Pick Up Stix restaurants and one Stix restaurant in California and Nevada ranging in size from 1,400 sf to 2,500 sf. The units seat from 20 to 85 persons and are primarily located in suburban shopping centers. Carlson plans to build new Pick Up Stix restaurants primarily in new shopping centers near office and commercial business districts to focus on the lunch trade, and in new residential developments with a focus on the dinner trade.
