Wood plans to build the new product in the Southeast and Texas. The company currently has active projects in Washington, DC, Texas and the Southeast.
At Banc of America, Felder was responsible for developing mixed-income affordable housing communities in the Carolinas. His two high-profile projects were the First Ward Hope VI revitalization venture in Charlotte and the upcoming Fairview Homes Hope VI revitalization.
"Our initial efforts will be focused on assisting public housing authorities achieve the off-site replacement housing goals associated with the Hope VI program," Felder says in a prepared statement.
