Metro National currently has senior living communities in the Houston areas of Willowbrook, Memorial City, Spring Shadows, West University, First Colony and Clear Lake. The Woodlands' 250-unit complex will be positioned close to Memorial-Hermann The Woodlands Hospital. The senior community will include amenities such as heated swimming pool and spa, housekeeping services, fitness center, computer center, dining areas for prepared meals and transportation.
Jeff Beard, director of retail properties, represented The Woodlands Operating Co. LP in the land deal. In addition to senior living communities, the 47-year-old Metro National owns much of the Memorial City Mall area and is working to refurbish and repurpose that development.
