The company is moving into 4201 E. Director Drive, situated across the street from its 300,000 sf at 4238 Director Dr. The area is close to Interstates 10 and 35 and Loop 410. Joe Carroll with Grubb & Ellis Co.'s San Antonio office represented Cott and Mark Weikel represented the building owner, Lend Lease's Atlanta office.
Cott, based in Toronto, is a leading supply of retailer-brand soft drinks ranging from sodas to bottled water and iced teas in the US, Canada and the United Kingdom. Its private label brands include Sam's American Choice and Safeway Select for Safeway. Those two customers account for about 50% of Cott's sales. Cott has purchased Royal Crown Cola's concentrate manufacturing plant and international division from Cadbury Schweppes. The company came to San Antonio in 1997 when it bought Texas Beverages in a deal valued at nearly $19 million.
