J.P.Plunkett, a director at Cushman & Wakefield's Brokerage Services Group, did not return calls by presstime but he is quoted as saying that, "Transactions of this size show that the industrial market is still alive and well in the south suburban marketplace. Industrial landlords can rest assured that available space will be leased relatively quickly." Plunkett represented the building's owner, MARIC.
Georgia-based InterCept Group, a service and product provider for community financial institutions, was represented by Peter Benke of NAI Hunneman Commercial Co. in its lease of 30,000 sf of space. Apria Healthcare, a home-care service provider, was represented by Mohr Partners in its lease renewal of 30,688.
