He spent five years at Atlanta-based Miller Richmond Co. as director of client services. Hutchings previously headed his own architecture firm, Harris, Hutchings, Fritz & Associates.
He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and received his bachelor's degree in management and architecture and his master's in architecture from Georgia Tech.
