The Plano-based contractor says it's time to focus more intently on the fields, which have been a part of the Hill & Wilkinson lineup since its inception. The strategy is to roll out dedicated teams. "We are ready to add a concentrated focus to these highly skill areas," says Greg Wilkinson, CEO of the 33-year-old business.
Mark Lambert will lead the education group as vice president and group manager. Karl Bontrager will be the group manager for the specialty concrete operation.
Hill & Wilkinson has assigned the specialty concrete group to its manufacturing and high technology division, one of three within the business. The new group will handle complex concrete jobs that require skilled layout and carpentry expertise for formwork. The group's projects also will include specialty foundations, vertical concrete structures and miscellaneous projects.
The education group will be part of the health-care, institutional and education division, which will focus on renovation and new construction for public and private undertakings for all grade levels.
Hill & Wilkinson employs more than 70 management personnel in its three divisions and in excess of 185 skilled craftsmen and field overseers. The veteran contractor reports more than $200 million in annual revenue is generated each year from its project lineup.
