US Airways will give some workers the option of relocating to call centers in Dayton, Ohio; Indianapolis, Orlando, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, N.Y., or Winston-Salem, N.C., according to company officials.

Following the failure of a merger with United Airlines, US Airways is looking to cut costs and has unveiled a strategic plan aimed at salvaging the company. Among the steps are cutting payroll costs and boosting short-run regional flights.
