The new service, SafeRent Applicant Screening for Independent Owners, is an Internet-based service produces a renter risk score, displays a credit report, and performs a Social Security number fraud check, eviction search and criminal background check.
SafeRent's screening process is based on a statistical scoring model that predicts the likelihood of eviction, skipping or owing funds at move-out.
Direct connections to a national database can usually be provided almost instantly.
