The People Mover system is an automated train that shuttles passengers between terminals. The airports in Atlanta and Denver currently house People Mover systems and Dallas is in the process of constructing one. To enhance Houston's People Mover, Bombardier will design and supply of all the electrical and mechanical systems for a 0.6 km extension, including 10 additional CX-100 vehicles. Delivery will start in mid-2003. The system, which now connects terminals B and C, will be linked to the international terminal complex, now under construction.

Bombardier has designed and installed 30 People Mover systems for airport and urban applications around the world, including Changi International Airport, Singapore; Frankfurt's International Airport; Leonardo daVinci International Airport, Rome; and the Miami Metromover.
