Trammell Crow Co. has added two brokers and 853,000 sf in assignments to its Dallas-Ft. Worth office group. On board are Jim Yoder as senior vice president for the office group and Barbara Budai Bennett as vice president on the same team.
Yoder annually ranks as one of Dallas' top leasing agents. He had completed more than 200 transactions in excess of two million sf, valued at more than "$200 million. He previously was a partner in Poston Yoder Commercial Real Estate in Dallas.
Bennett also came from the ranks of Poston Yoder and previously worked for CB Richard Ellis. She has overseen more than three million sf of office properties and worked on lease deals for an aggregate 1.5 million sf.
The hires have brought about 853,000 sf to Trammell Crow's portfolio in assignments at Stone Tower, Northpointe Centre, Park Creek Place, Lee Park Center, Market Ross Place, all owned by Ecom Real Estate of Dallas, and InterUrban Station owned by Belclaire Cos.
At the Dallas-based Staubach Co., Dan Watson has landed a promotion to vice president from senior associate in the retail division. He will continue to specialize in tenant representation in the Southwest. His clients include Pier 1 Imports, Disney Regional Entertainment, Ultimate Electronics and Aaron Brothers Art and Framing.
Watson joined the Staubach team in 1997 after having been a principal in a Ft. Worth-based real estate and market research firm. He also was a senior vice president of real estate, design and construction for Showbiz PizzaTime Inc.
Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. has added Mark Boynton as an associate in Dallas. He will be working with Bob Edge and Matt Heidelbaugh. Boynton previously worked for Arledge/Power Real Estate Group in Dallas.
Matt McKinney and Mike Casida have joined WorkPlace Technologies as client solutions executives. McKinney previously was the founder of Works Inc., an e-procurement software startup headquartered in Austin and was an account manager for Dell Computer. Casida was a business development consultant for Bergen Brunswig Drug Co. prior to joining the WorkPlace team. He has an extensive background in sales and management for the banking and financial services industries.
The Wyndham International team is celebrating the recognition of an executive for outstanding meeting and business travel initiatives. Kevin Kelly, Wyndham vice president of business travel, has been accorded a top honor from the National Business Travel Association. Also, John Yazbeck, director of national sales for business travel, copped an award from KPMG. Bradley Kent, Wyndham's vice president of national sales, is a director on the Professional Convention Management Association's education foundation while Dave Johnson, executive vice president of sales and marketing, is vice chairman for the communications and chapter liaison for Meeting Professionals International Foundation. Cary Jehl Broussard, a Wyndham marketing vice president, is the chairwoman of the meeting professionals' women's leadership initiative.
