McMillan Cos. wants another month to study complaints against its proposed Quarry Creek shopping center. The planning commission approved the project July 23, but two appeals have since been filed against it.
Local residents complain that the center could cause too much noise and traffic, while the owners of Tri-City Crossroads, another shopping center about a quarter-mile away, claim environmental studies are flawed and the new center would hurt their existing retail center.
