City West Asset Services Inc. will move into 3,586 sf at Westchase Central I, located at 9700 Richmond in the Westchase submarket. Mona Williams of Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Houston team represented City West. Dwayne Stone was the in-house broker for building owner, Kennedy-Wilson International.
Radio Shack Corp. has leased 4,639 sf at 6161 Savoy near Texas 59 and Loop 610 in southwest Houston. Steve Rocher and Kristin Porter, both of Grubb & Ellis' Houston office, acted on behalf of building owner, Unilev Management.
Ft. Worth-based Radio Shack is the nation's largest consumer electronics retailer and has in excess of 7,000 stores nationwide, of which at least 34 stores are in the Houston area. In the Radio Shack network, 5,100 are company-owned and the balance are franchise operations. Radio Shack estimates 94% of Americans live within five minutes of a Radio Shack store.
