Cornwell Corp., based in Scottsdale, signed the lease for the North County Coastal Coastal Career Center in its Cornwell Business Center, bring occupancy at the center to about 52%. Oceanside Equities LLC, the building owner, was represented by Chuck Currey and Tim Moore of the Carlsbad office of IPC Commercial. Mike Conerty of Burnham Real Estate represented Lockheed.
The center is a division of the San Diego Workforce Partnership and one of six "one-stop" career centers held across the county. The center provides career development services, computer classes and other services aimed at job training and employment.
After a search, the partnership settled on the Cornwell Center at the northwest corner of Avenida Del Oro and Oceanside Boulevard. The flex/R&D building totals 49,568 sf.
