The joint venture, named Equilon Enterprises LLC, has reached agreement with Truax Harris Energy LLC resulting in the formation of another limited liability company, Cascade Energy LLC, which will manage Shell- and Texaco-branded gasoline stations throughout Oregon.
Cascade will operate 57 sites through a contract with Truax Harris, which will provide the day to day operational management. Both Equilon and Truax Harris will each hold a 50% interest in Cascade. The value of the deal was not released by the companies and was not otherwise immediately available.
Equilon is based in Houston. It refines and markets Shell- and Texaco-branded products in 32 Western and Midwestern states and includes Shell's and Texaco's nationwide transportation and lubricants businesses.
