Halo Distributing Co., the Miller beer distributor in the San Antonio area, gave up the space when it merged with the area's Coors beer distributor. Joe Carroll and Bob Trevino of the San Antonio office of Grubb & Ellis represented Halo Realty, the seller. Nelson Karaklis of the San Antonio office of Keller-Williams Realty acted for the buyer.
Spec, which has operations in 30 locations is expanding from a smaller distribution center in San Antonio, Karaklis tells GlobeSt.com. Spec has other Texas facilities in Amarillo, Dallas and Houston.
Once it merged with the Coors distributor, Halo didn't need the West Avenue space, Carroll says. The company distributes Miller brands, Heineken, Pete's Wicked Ale brands, Molson and Pyramid brands.
