The three new projects are scheduled to break ground this quarter and be completed by fall 2002. ConAgra will use the distribution sites to store dry goods.

Each location will contain office areas, shipping and receiving docks for tractor-trailer loading, and material handling and automated control systems to track inventory.

The Nebraska firm is North America's No. 1 food service supplier and No. 2 supplier to grocery stores, Information Resources reports. ConAgr posted $27 billion sales last year with its 33 major brands and value-added products.
