The hospital paid an undisclosed seller $110,000 per acre or $2.53 per sf for Bullsboro Boulevard site. Emory plans a $54 million, 62-bed hospital on the property which is five miles from Emory's existing quarters.
Area brokers tell GlobeSt.com Newnan, because of its strategic location, is developing quickly and land zoned for commercial and medical purposes may be at a premium in about five years. Peachtree Regional is owned by Nashville, TN-based HCA-The Healthcare Co.
