Culver Stedman, broker with Boyd Page is marketing the land. Stedman tells GlobeSt.com that the area has been platted with potential uses and Terrabrook's ready to begin selling parcels, with infrastructure, to developers. The plans call for up to eight two- or three-story office buildings, each designed with 60,000 sf to 80,000 sf. Retail and restaurant areas also have been designated.

Stedman says it's the first contiguous chunk of land devoted to commercial development in the 10-year-old upscale community. "It is also the first big development west of the Grand Parkway," Stedman contends.

Cinco Ranch previously was focused on development of single-family homes, primarily located on the east side of the Grand Parkway. According to Stedman, Terrabrook and other developers this year will build up to 600 homes on the west side of the parkway.
