/ESG Retail Group's David Green, Bradley Mendelson, Gary Trock and Jordan Roth represented building owner Reckson & Associates in negotiating the 20-year lease at 919 Third Ave. Eric Gelber, also with Insignia, brokered for Outback. The deal has an aggregate of $6 million

"Outback has been focusing their attention on Manhattan for quite some time," says Gelber. "919 Third Ave. is ideally situated within a densely populated office and residential market."

While the popular eatery counts franchises in Queens and Brooklyn among its more than 700 locations, 919 Third Ave. will mark the chain's Manhattan debut. "We've had our eye on this location for three years," says co-franchisee Forrest Smith. "It's a wonderful coup to have achieved our objective and to have a presence in the world's most sought-after restaurant market."
