E&V will work with Group II Architects of Marshall,MN, on the project. The fees for both both consultants weren't disclosed.
The planned two-story public works building at theLyon County Fairgrounds will lead to a headquartersfor county highway, zoning, environmental, parks andgeographic information system departments. Theexisting highway building was built in the 1970s and willbe kept as an equipment and maintenance center.
The project will be financed through $1.5 million incounty reserve funds, combined with bond proceeds. Minneapolis-based E&V is a consulting and constructionmanagement firm with offices in Minnesota, Wisconsinand Michigan.__________________________________________________
