In the largest of the recent signings, generic drug maker Geneva Pharmaceutical has sublet 21,169 sf of office space from Mathematica Policy Research at 101 Morgan Lane in Plainsboro, NJ. Geneva was represented by James D. Scanlon and Douglas Twyman, both principals of Newmark JGT.
Also, St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Co. has taken 18,257 sf at 360 Mt. Kemble Ave. in Morris Twp., NJ. The insurer was represented by Robert Dinner and David Simon, both Newmark JGT principals, in conjunction with Cushman & Wakefield. And Software Development has leased 8,296 sf at Holmdel Corporate Plaza in Holmdel, NJ, with Newmark JGT principal Adam Silver responsible for the transaction.
In the other recent signings, Westgate Financial Inc., a financial services company, has taken space at 5 Marine View Plaza in Hoboken, NJ, a 125,000-sf, five-story property owned by Ivy Equities. Associate director Egidio Carlino was responsible for the transaction. And NGK Sparkplugs (USA) Inc. has leased space for general office use at the 176,000-sf Mack-Cali Commerce Drive facility in Cranford, NJ.
Finally, PF Property Corp. has taken space at the New Jersey Telecom Exchange, a 180,000-sf telco hotel in Newark, relocating there from Reston, VA. The transaction was worked out by executive vice president William Cohen and managing director Matt Leon of Newmark's Manhattan office, along with Seena Stein, a principal of Newmark JGT, based in the firm's Rutherford, NJ office.
