Cedar Village at Ocean, as the 298-unit community will be called, will also feature a 10,000-sf clubhouse complex. The facility will include such amenities as a business center, exercise room, library, computer room, meeting rooms and various recreational uses including a pool.
Continental Properties has a number of other active adult and other communities underway in the Garden State, including Holmdel Village and Cedar Village in Holmdel, and Rolling Meadows in Wayside, all in Monmouth County; and the 427-unit Woodbridge Hills in Woodbridge. The company is also joint venturing (with Premier Homes) a 1,500-unit community in the Somerset section of Franklin Twp., Somerset County.
