The former Daydots International building was on the market nine months at an asking price of $985,000, Tyler Trahant, associate with the Richard D. Minker Co. in Ft. Worth, tells GlobeSt.com. Buyer Rivertown Manufacturing was one of several bidders for the vacant property at 2500 Ludell St., he says. Richard D. Minker, president, and Trahant represented both sides of the deal.

Upon closing, Rivertown Manufacturing immediately started packing up its promotional wares and equipment at 1400 Everman Parkway. Prior to listing the site, Daydots International relocated to a new building at 1801 Riverbend West in the city's Riverbend Business Park.

The 14-year-old Rivertown Manufacturing, which employs 61 people, produces promotional buttons and similar products made of metal, plastic and paper. Daydots International makes and distributes food safety products.
