Taylor's law firm is occupying the first floor and intends to lease out the second, John Barnes, associate vice president of Colliers International in Phoenix, tells GlobeSt.com. Barnes and Peter Barbey, Colliers' marketing associate, represented the seller and have snagged the contract to lead the buyer's leasing effort.

The garden office building, sitting on about three-quarters of an acre, has been vacant for nearly two years. The property came to market after non-profit organization, Terros, relocated to a newer structure at the intersection of 32nd Street and McDowell in Phoenix.

Barnes said the property carried an asking price of $2 million. After going under contract, the sale closed within 30 days of Taylor signing an option. The class B structure is part of the Central Corridor and is flanked by similar product.
