Located at 375 McCarter Hwy. in the downtown section, the asset has 60,000-sf floorplates, according to Raymond Chalmé, who with Joseph Jerome heads JEMB. Spaces are available in increments from 5,000 sf to the full building. "The building has the largest continuous block of available in with covered parking in all of downtown Newark," according to Chalmé.
For National Redevelopment, Christian M. Benedetto and Kenneth H. Williams will lead the marketing efforts. Targets for the high-tech building include corporate offices, data and call centers, medical use and even manufacturing. "The 24-hour environment positions it for mission critical facilities, medical, manufacturing or headquarters-quality office space," according to Benedetto.
Besides 375 McCarter Hwy., JEMB also owns the New Jersey Telecom Exchange in Newark, the New York Telecom Exchange @ Broad Street, Herald Center and Herald Towers, all in Manhattan, among others.
