Coronado Commerceplex is a two-building project, totaling 126,140 sf, that has just come on line. Owens and Colliers International's Bill Littleton, Tom Woods and Larry Ortega represented the tenant. Bill Bayless of CB Richard Ellis' Phoenix office handled talks for the building owner, Los Angeles-based AZEJM Land Holdings Inc.
Sleep America will relocate from an office-warehouse property at the Van Buren Distribution Center at the intersection of 37th Avenue and Van Buren Street. Sleep America, which supplies 15 stores in the region, was a five-year tenant at the property.
The relocation keeps Sleep America in the same submarket, but provides visibility to the 250,000 vehicles per day that use Interstate 10, says Owens. Move-in is set for March 1.
