Woodmont associate Brandon Beeson tells GlobeSt.com that he expects to close a deal for the Service Merchandise building in "three or four months." And, he's talking to other prospects about another 10,000 sf of inline space. The center includes tenants such as La Madeleine, Great Outdoors, Chow Thai, Addison Cafe and Logan's restaurant.
Woodmont replaced Insignia/ESG's Dallas office as the leasing agent. The center is owned by New York City-based Mony Group.
Beeson says a date for the renovation start has not been decided, but a freshening up is sure to come. The center's first phase was built in 1979, the second phase in 1982 and the last renovation in 1987.
Prestonwood Place is located at the southeast corner of Beltline and Montfort, about a block from the Dallas North Tollway in North Dallas. Beeson and Woodmont associate Kevin McIntosh are handling leasing duties.
