"The real estate industry has not been immune to the effects of 9/11 and the economic downturn," Gostylo says. "Since the primary reason for the existence of our organization is to enhance our members' ability to service their clients, it is incumbent that we help prepare our members to assist their clients navigate these new realities. We must do what we can, at least in some measure, to help restore confidence in our economy and future."Gostylo is one of four brokers that founded Providence when their employer, CB Richard Ellis, closed its San Antonio office in 1991.
CORFAC brokers participated in more than 6,700 commercial real estate transactions that totaled more than 395 million sf with a dollar volume of some $10 billion in 2000.
