In Grand Prairie, Double E Investments has bought a 31,500-sf warehouse at 5201 E. Jefferson in the Great Southwest Industrial Park. The buyer will distribute vehicle parts from the site. Henry S. Miller's Dan Spika negotiated the acquisition from Industrial Catering Inc. Details about the transactions were not available by press time.
In another done deal, Staples Office Supply is under construction in Plano as a result of a 23,942-sf lease brokered by the Woodmont Co. of Fort Worth and Dallas' Staubach Co. Woodmont senior vice presidents Greg Rabin and Jennifer Frank negotiated the long-term lease for a freestanding building going up at the junction of Central Expressway and Parker Road. Staubach's Mike Leonard represented the property owner. An opening is being planned for spring.
