OWP&P, with offices in Chicago and Phoenix, is the architect for the project, carrying a 2004 delivery. "The phasing and logistics are all dependent on one another," says Steve Seiler, Good Samaritan's CEO, "and are planned to limit the disruptions to the patients, staff, doctors and visitors."
Banner Health System, the hospital owner, announced the project in the fall. At that time, Chuck Welliver, Banner Arizona's regional president, said the project is a reflection of the operator-owner's commitment to the Valley. Banner has four major construction projects under way at Valley medical properties. Good Samaritan, now marking its 91st year, is located at the southeast corner of 10th Street and McDowell Road.
