Feder replaces Richard C. Rochon who resigned to start a private equity investment and management company. But he will continue to serve as vice chairman of Boca Resort's board of directors.

Feder began his career at his family's hotel in New York. A marketing professional, Feder was vice president/sales/marketing, the Breakers, Palm Beach, FL and Innisbrook Resort, Tarpon Springs, FL.
He also held management positions in sales, marketing and operations for Princess Hotels International; the Plaza, New York City; and the St. Francis Hotel, San Francisco.
Feder holds a masters degree in business administration from American University, Washington, DC and a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Rider College, Trenton, NJ.
